Manaslu Annapurna Circuit Trek Overview

A recently created trekking route, the Manaslu Annapurna Circuit Trek, combines two of Nepal's most well-known trekking destinations, the Manaslu and Annapurna regions. Trekking over the Manaslu-Annapurna circuit is a thrilling combination of western Nepal's trekking routes and a portion of the major Himalayan paths. In the same way, as Annapurna Circuit Trekking is one of the top ten trekking destinations in the world, Manaslu Circuit Trekking is also a well-known trek in the Manaslu region. You will appreciate this trekking trip.

You will have a great experience on the Manaslu and Annapurna Circuit Trek, which will take you over the Larkya la Pass (5160m) and the Thorong La Pass (5416m). More than 30 gigantic mountains, including the eighth-highest mountain in the world, Manaslu (8163m), and the tenth-highest, Annapurna (8091m), will be seen from the trek. Throughout the walk, you will see the colorful cultural communities of the Tamang and Sherpa people, various beautiful green forests, the Deep George of Marshyangdi and Kaligandaki, amazing natural surroundings, and many more unusual landscapes.

If you are searching for moderate-level trekking, then it will be best to participate in 14 days Annapurna Base Camp Trek.

Taking a regular bus from Kathmandu to Arughat and then to Machha Khola would be the first step in the Manaslu Annapurna Circuit Trek - 23 Days. Your primary hiking route will begin at Machha Khola and will pass through Khorlabesh, Dobhan, and Yaruphat before arriving in Jagat. You will depart for Deng the next day from Jagat. The walk to Deng village is quite rewarding, leading you through several suspension bridges and large waterfalls. From Deng to Namrung, you will continue your Manaslu Circuit Trek with Annapurna. The next morning, after spending the night in Namrung, you will begin your walk to Lho. The next day, you will go to Samagaun from Lho. Monastery and stone-built homes may be seen in the little settlement of Samagun. You can explore the surrounding environs, which include Birendra Lake, Pungyen Monastery, and Manaslu Base Camp. You will start your walk to reach Samdo with enthusiasm after taking a break in Samagaun. Beautiful views of several mountains, including the impressive Manaslu, may be seen from Samdo. As you go from Samdo to Dharamsala, the thrill increases.

A couple of frozen lakes will be crossed as you begin your early morning hike over the Larkya Glacier moraine trail. One of the Himalayas' longest passes is Larkya La. Before reaching Bhimtang, you must traverse the Larkya La Pass and various yak farms. You will depart from Bhimtang and hike to Dharapani. You will go to Chame from Dharapani the next morning. You will reach Upper Pisang by following the Marsyangdi River and traveling via the charming towns of Talekhu, Bhratang, and Dhikur Pokhari. The next day, you will go to Manang to acclimate. Your track will lead you from Manang to Ledar through Ghusang and Yak Kharka. You will reach Muktinath, a sacred site for both Buddhists and Hindus, by trekking from Ledar to Thorong Phedi and then over the Thorong La Pass. You will then go to Jomsom, where you will catch a domestic aircraft to Pokhara. Day to Day Itinerary for Manaslu Annapurna Circuit Trek

At Kathmandu airport's arrival terminal, a representative from Green Valley Nepal will be waiting for you. The agent will greet you and take you to your Kathmandu hotel. You can either take a rest or meet us at our office and know the detailed arrangement of the Manaslu with Annapurna Circuit Trek Itinerary

After a sumptuous breakfast, you will travel to Arughat from the Kathmandu Valley by public transport. The picturesque villages of Arkhet Bazar, Kuerepani, Soti Khola, Lapubesi, and Khanibesi will be passed through on the shared jeep ride from Arughat to Machha Khola. It will be a long journey, with the first leg going on a major blacktop road smoothly till Arughat, and the second leg being difficult from Arughat. Prepare your body to bounce with certain motions as you cross the rough route to Maccha Khola. You will start your major Manaslu with Annapurna Circuit Trekking from Maccha Khola

You will continue your hike alongside the Budhi Gandaki River. The Manaslu-Annapurna Circuit Trek route passes via Khorlabesi and makes modest ascents and descents before reaching Tatopani, a hot spring. As you bridge the Budhi Gandaki River and pass a mountain, you will be astounded by the spectacular views at Doban, Thulo Dunga, and Yaru Bagar. Once at the Manaslu Conservation Area entrance gate, you will register your permits at a police checkpoint in Jagat. The route winds and turns over the river and over several suspension bridges. You will have to climb up in elevation to reach Jagat, which will change your view and the vegetation. During your forest stroll, langur monkeys can show up out of the blue

Over a rocky slope today, with a distant view of Sringi Himal, the Manaslu and Annapurna Circuit Trek will begin. Your journey will begin in Jagat and pass via the charming villages of Salleri and Sirdibas as you follow the Budhi Gandaki River. After passing a suspension bridge, you will reach the Gurung community of Philim. After that, you will go to Nyak village through Ekle Bhatti, twice crossing the Budhi Gandaki River on suspension bridges. You will reach Deng village after passing through a desolate canyon and following the Budhi Gandaki's bank trails, through Pewa Khola and bamboo groves.

Your Manaslu Circuit with Annapurna Circuit Trek will start in Deng today and continue up to Rana and Bihi Phedi, traversing a suspension bridge across the Budhi Gandaki River. Before reaching the charming village of Ghap, your hike will gradually ascent while passing through a variety of woods and mani stones. After that, you'll go to Ghapsya while admiring the breathtaking views of Shringi Himal along the way. Be careful since the landslide area will start near Ghapsya. By following the river and repeatedly crossing it through the jungle and gompas, you may reach Namrung.

You will hike a difficult trail through a forested region from Namrung to Lihi. Annapurna Circuit Trek via the Manaslu route will traverse beautiful vistas of mountains such as Saula Himal, Pangkar Himal, Kutang Himal, and Pangbuche Himal. Beautiful chortens and barley fields, as well as a sight of the Manaslu Himal, can be seen from Lihi. As your hike progresses, you will notice a shift in the vegetation and meet more Buddhists. Crossing a suspension bridge from Lihi you will head toward Sho Village. You will reach Lho village after crossing Sho Village, where you can observe Punggen Glacier.

It will be only a short hike from Lho to Samagaon. You will pass via Shyala hamlet on the way to Samagaon, which is known for its breathtaking scenery, gompas, Tibetan villages, and alpine splendor. The Manaslu to Annapurna Circuit Trek will provide you with a close-up view of Mt. Manaslu from Samagaon. There are several village entrance gates, and you could see villagers spinning wool into clothing or purchasing Chinese whiskey from a street vendor.

After your delectable meal, you could have some spare time. You may thus make use of that time by taking a quick trip to Pungyen Gompa or Birendra Lake. With multiple tall mountains on all sides, Pung Gyan Gompa's Buddhist temple is the perfect place to relax. The same is true of Birendra Lake, which can be reached by foot from Samagaon in about an hour and features spectacular views of the lake's turquoise and green water

You will ascend an isolated route that inclines sharply in order to reach Samdo. You will go alongside the Budhi Gandaki River and via magnificent woods with Rhododendron, Juniper, and Birch trees on today's Manaslu with Annapurna Circuit Trek. Before reaching Kermo Kharka and the white Kani Gateway, the valley expands. The stone walls that surround the path make it more appealing. After a further 4 kilometers, you will arrive at Samdo, which is just beyond the Tibetan border. You can view a Tibetan refugee settlement as well as Mt. Manaslu, Simnang Himal, Ngadi Chuli, Manaslu glacier, and Manaslu icefall from Samd

The last settlement before the Larkya La Pass is Samdo, where you will spend the day acclimatizing. According to the Manaslu - Annapurna Circuit Trek Itinerary, this will be your first acclimatization day. Samdo Village, which is near the spectacular Samdo Peak and Samdo Glacier, will be available for your visit. You will also have the choice of traveling to the Tibetan border via Rui La Pass or Lajyung Pass. You may explore the villages, plants, and fauna while taking in the beautiful vistas of Mt. Manaslu, Simrang, Hiuchuli, Larkya Peak, Cheo, and Ngadi. Alternatively, you can trek to Gya La using the lengthier route

You will have plenty of time to adjust to the altitude because Manaslu and Annapurna Circuit Trek is short today. The journey continues through hills and wooden bridges that bridge the Budi Gandaki. After navigating two streams and a breathtaking valley, you will arrive at the Larkya glacier. On this path, you may see Manaslu and the Syacha Glacier in all their glory. If you are lucky, you could spot Himalayan blue sheep on the road to Dharamshala. Dharamshala offers panoramic views of several peaks, including Jarkya Himal, Nysing Himal, and Lajyung Himal, as well as glaciers, including Fukang Glaciers, Larkya Glacier, Syacha Glacier, Yamnang Glacier, and Manaslu Glacier.

The second-highest point of the hike, Larkya La Pass (5160m), will be reached on the most eagerly awaited day of the Manaslu Circuit with the Annapurna Circuit Trek. The steep, snow-covered pass will thereafter be gradually ascended once Cho Chanda has been scaled. The panoramic views of the Himalayas are just spectacular from the summit. Among some of the snow-capped Himalayas, you will view are the Himlung, Cheo, Gyagi Kung, Kang Koru, and Annapurna II. Bhimphedi is reached after a difficult descent via moraines. Visitors may witness glaciers like Dobhan, Purdi, and Ponkar as well as small lakes like Ponkar and Nayamlo from Bhimphedi.

With views of Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Himlung Himal, and Cheo Himal, the descent from Bimthang travels through high-grazing grassland, Dudh Khola, and rhododendron woods. First and foremost, you will descend from Bimthang to the village of Hampuk after passing Dobhan and Purdi Khola. Next, you will pass through Yak Kharka and Kharche as well as the gorgeous streams Soti Khola and Kasongto Khola as you make your way to Gho Village. Your Annapurna Circuit Trek via Manaslu route will follow Dudh Khola from Gho Village and pass via Tilije and Thonje villages in order to get to Dharapani. A suspension bridge must be used to cross the Marsyangdi River in order to reach Dharapani.

You will pass through alpine terrain today, where the temperature will drop. You will pass through forests to get to the Tibetan towns of Bagarchhap and Danakyu. You will see an area where apples are grown in addition to farmland, pine trees, and views of the Lamjung and Annapurna II peaks. After traveling through the charming towns of Timang, Thanchowk, and Koto, where the Naar-Phu trail joins Manaslu to Annapurna Circuit Trek, you will ultimately reach Chame. There is a substantial mani wall with prayer wheels at the settlement's entrance. In addition to upscale hotels, Internet cafés, outdoor gear shops, banks, and facilities for communication and health, Chame, the district capital of Manang, is home to a lot of services.

The Chame path follows a narrow, steep valley that is home to beautiful pine and rhododendron woodland. After crossing the Marshyangdi River on a suspension bridge, the Manaslu with Annapurna Circuit Trek path ascends and offers stunning vistas of rocky surfaces, including the face of Pangdi Danda and Swargadwari Danda. If you keep traveling, you will eventually reach Dhikur Pokhari after passing through the villages of Talekhu and Bhratang.

From Dhikur Pokhari, it is possible to see several mountains, including Annapurna II, Pisang Peak, Chulu Peak, Tilicho Peak, and others. The next step is to cross a suspension bridge over a river and start walking in the direction of Upper Pisang. Kuntu Danda, Longyo Danda, and Pisang Peak of the Annapurna Range are all magnificently visible from Upper Pisang.

Starting from Pisang, you will take the most difficult route, which has several steep ascents and turns. You will be walking via Upper Pisang through Ghyaru and Ngawal on the steeper paths, where you can enjoy stunning views of the Lamjung Himal (6,983m), Annapurna II (7,937m), Annapurna IV (7,525m), Gandarbha Chuli (6,250m), Annapurna III (7555m), Gangapurna (7,544m), Glacier Dome (7,193m), and Khangs (6,091m). As the route climbs, you will notice that the air is colder, dry, and harsher.

As you go through the Tibetan communities on this trail, you will have the chance to learn about Buddhist culture. It passes via the charming village of Munchi and the unremarkable hamlet of Braga on the way to Manang. You will explore Barge Monastery, which is Manang's largest monastery. After traveling through various monasteries and arriving at Manang market, you will see that the path is lined with Buddhist shrines. Manang is one of the biggest towns along the Manaslu-Annapurna Circuit

Prior to climbing to a high altitude, it is essential to take a rest day to let the body adjust. On the Manaslu and Annapurna Circuit Trek itinerary, this is the second acclimatization day. Take use of your time by going for a little acclimatization walk around Gangapurna Lake and the surrounding area. The path leading to this tourist destination is a little uneven and covered in small stones and trash, but the vista is breathtaking. The Gangapurna Lake itself is tranquil and gets its water from melting glaciers since it is encircled by shining mountains and rough hills. From the coastline, it is possible to see Mt. Gangapurna, Khangsar Kang, Glacial Dom, and Annapurna. The side hikes to Ice Lake and Base Camp, which provide breathtaking scenery, are popular among hikers.

The route ascends out of the Marshyangdi Valley from Manang village to the town of Tengi, crosses a spring, then turns northwest and ascends to the Jarsang Khola valley. The Manaslu Circuit with Annapurna Circuit Trek route continues through this valley to the north, gradually increasing elevation as it goes through a few meadows and juniper tree scrub. Close to where the path continues go is the little community of Ghusang, which consists of a number of mud-roofed buildings. The trail passes through yak and horse grazing meadows known as Yak Kharka. After crossing a small river on a wooden bridge and continuing through a tranquil meadow, the trail ultimately arrives at the charming hamlet of Ledar.

You will reach Thorung High Camp, also known as Thorung Phedi, today as part of your Annapurna Circuit Trek via Manaslu Itinerary. Thorung Phedi or Thorung High Camp may be reached in 4 to 5 hours, depending on your physical condition and the weather. The higher altitude has an effect on the difficulty level and usually strong winds in these higher regions. It can take much longer if the path is covered in snow.

Move slowly and attentively while listening to your guide. Yak and blue sheep herds may be seen grazing across the river from the course, on the opposite side of the river. There aren't many tea houses in Thorung Phedi. The first portion of the walk is a desolate, rocky area that is considerably different from the lush lowlands you passed on the way up. If you are not fatigued and want to continue, the trek to the High Camp will ease the difficulty of the next day's journey.

One of the hardest treks in the whole Manaslu to Annapurna Circuit Trek is the one you will be taking today. Through Thorung Phedi or Thorung High Camp, you may access the 5416-meter Thorung La Pass. The Annapurna Range, Thorong Peak, Dhaulagiri Range, Nilgiri, and other mountains may be seen in the distance from Thorung La Pass. After taking in the beauty and taking a few photographs, you will make your way down to Muktinath.

The only way to go from Muktinath to Thorung La Pass is downhill. Muktinath is the second-largest Hindu temple in addition to being a Buddhist temple. Numerous Hindu pilgrims visit the Muktinath shrine. There are 108 water taps and two little ponds in Muktinath. Hindus think that by taking showers from 108 different faucets, you may atone for past misdeeds. At Dhola Mebar Gompa, the Jwalamai (goddess of fire) temple, a little walk away past a cluster of Chorten, a holy natural gas flame twinkles behind a grill right above the spring.

The Manaslu with Annapurna Circuit Trek Itinerary states that this is the last day of hiking as you get ready to head to Jomsom. You will leave Muktinath after breakfast and begin your descent through a number of picturesque villages, including Jharkot, Kagbeni, and Ekle Bhatti. Because most of the trails are downhill, the journey to Jomsom is significantly simpler than the previous one.

The last few portions of the route contain some steep inclines, which makes them a little more difficult. Ascending the mountains that lead to Jomsom will bring you to the Kali Gandaki River and a windswept valley. The Thakali people and the conventional salt merchants are located in Jomsom, which acts as the district's administrative center for the Mustang region. Jomsom offers a clear view of Tilicho Peak, Nilgiri, and Dhaulagiri.

Finally, you will leave this morning early in order to catch your flight to Pokhara and bid farewell to the Manaslu - Annapurna Circuit Trek. It will take between 30 and 40 minutes to fly to Pokhara. Along the way, there are expansive views of the Annapurna Himalaya Range and the road to Tatopani and Ghorepani. Use your free day in Pokhara to unwind, relax, and allow your muscles to recuperate after a strenuous day of climbing. Phewa Lake, Tal Barahi, David's Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, World Peace Pagoda, International Mountain Museum, Bindabasini Temple, Mahendra Cave, and other attractions are only a few of the gems that could be found in Pokhara.

Manaslu and Annapurna Circuit Trek will end this morning after boarding a tourist bus in Pokhara to return to Kathmandu. Over the 205-kilometer route that divides Pokhara from Kathmandu, the mesmerizing Marsyangdi River and eventually the Trishuli River is followed. The road from Pokhara to Kathmandu passes past several charming towns, like Damauli, Dumre, and others.

You will pass by breathtaking vistas of hills, rivers, and mountains blanketed in snow as you go. A member of our staff will be there to welcome you and show you to your accommodation as soon as you arrive in the valley. This will give you time to freshen up before spending your final evening in Nepal shopping or visiting Thamel.

Depending on your departure schedule, we will often set up an airport transfer service three hours before departure. If you have additional time, we can set up some side trips for you, or you may go exploring on your own
