A new version of the Trek ,which includes the distant valleys of Nar and Phu as well as the high-altitude Tilicho Lake, is something you may be interested in participating in. Trekkers have a unique opportunity to see untouched valleys, untainted Himalayan scenery, and historic Buddhist culture in Nar Phu village, a real hidden gem. Annapurna Circuit with Nar Phu Valley Trek incorporates high mountains, glaciers, canyons, gorges, forests, rock formations, and civilizations that are predominantly Tibetan.
Nar Phu Valley is within the category of a restricted hiking region, thus hikers must obtain a special permit to enter. As a result, by law, Nepalese law requires a permit and trekking guides. The Nar and Phu region of Nepal has a landscape that is reminiscent of Tibet as you stroll through it. You will enjoy the gorgeous views of historic Tibetan cities, amazing rock formations, high-altitude grazing communities, little gorges, dense forests, and breathtaking snow-capped summits during your Nar Phu Valley and Tilicho Lake with Annapurna Circuit Trek. You may explore the quaint Tibetan settlements of Nar and Phu, cross the Kang La Pass, and get to Tilicho Lake in a less beaten-path manner.
Starting from Kathmandu, the Annapurna Circuit - Nar Phu - Tilicho Lake Trek will involve taking a public bus to Besisahar and then a shared 4WD jeep to Dharapani. Your major walk will begin at Dharapani on the route that takes you to Koto, passing via Timang and Bagarchhap. You will begin the trek in Koto and go via Meta, Naar Phedi, Chyakhu, and Kyang to reach the lovely Nar Phu Valley. You will spend the entire day at Nar Phu Valley getting to know the region. You will cross the Kangla Pass on your way back and rejoin the Annapurna Circuit path in Nagwal. Walking slowly leads to Manang from Nagwal. The world's highest-altitude lake, Tilicho Lake, will be your destination after spending an additional day acclimatizing in Manang. You will spend the night at Shree Kharka en route to Tilicho Lake.
You will then return to Shree Kharka and go towards Thorang Phedi through Yak Kharkha and Letdar after taking in the breathtaking views of the mountains around the lake at a height of 4,919 meters. You will next go to the excursion's highest point, Thorang La Pass. You will progressively climb towards Thorang La Pass (5,416m), the highest point of the Annapurna Circuit, and Nar Phu Valley Trek, where the panorama is unimaginable. You can start going downhill before it becomes windy by hanging out at the pass for a long. You will arrive in Muktinath, a revered temple. This temple receives a lot of Hindu and Buddhist visitors. You will hike to Jomsom on your final day of trekking, from where you will take a flight to Pokhara. Your Nar Phu Valley and Tilicho Lake with Annapurna Circuit Trek will conclude after you board the tourist bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Our airport agent will meet you at Tribhuwan International Airport. He will assist you to check in and drive you to the hotel in a private vehicle. You can get some rest after a long travel or you may go outside of your hotel to some of the lovely locations and explore to get your first views of Kathmandu city. You will meet your guide during a trek briefing that will take place in the evening. Your guide will educate you about the Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho and Nar Phu Valley Trek Itinerary and help you locate any missing gear.
You will travel from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule via Besisahar on a public bus that leaves early in the morning. A shared vehicle will next be used to transport you to Dharapani, your last destination for the day. Nar Phu Valley and Tilicho Lake with Annapurna Circuit Trek will leave you in amazement at the stunning waterfalls, snow-capped mountains, and several suspension bridges. You will pass through picturesque tiny towns like Ngadi, Bahundanda, Syange, Jagat, Chamje, and Tal as you follow the Marsayangdi River side by side before you reach Dharapani. At the Dharapani police checkpoint, visitors should register their Credentials and trekking permits.
After breakfast, you will continue your Nar Phu Valley Trek with Annapurna Circuit and Tilicho Lake Adventure along the river's edge by taking a mule trail through a forest of fir, oak, and maple. Traveling through fir and pine trees, Bagarchhap may be reached in an hour. To get to the lovely villages, the path slogs upward from Bagarchhap. During your journey, you will view gleaming mountains and a spotless Tibetan monastery. The route passes through a pine forest as it ascends to Lata Marang, through Danakyu and Timang. On the route to Koto, you will marvel at the stunning vistas of Annapurna II, Manasalu, Lamjung Himal, and Himalchuli. You will arrive at Koto after a difficult journey. Koto is bordered by a sizable Gurung population and is located at 2600 meters/ 8530ft above sea level.
Due to the challenging and mountainous nature of the journey to Meta, you will start your Annapurna with Nar Phu Valley and Tilicho Lake Trek early in the morning. All of your documents will be scrutinized at the checkpoint before you go on the path via the Soti Khola bank. You will travel from Koto on the well-known Annapurna Circuit paths. Dharmashala is reached by a variety of suspension and wooden bridges, waterfalls, dense forests, and challenging ascents. From Dharamshala, you will hike further along the trail through the forests and across the rocky outcroppings.
You will reach Meta village, a Tibetan Buddhist settlement, after a strenuous hike through the bush that takes around 1.5 hours. The tranquillity of the place will leave an impression on anybody visiting it, and it has its own unique attraction. The slowly changing panoramas and beauty of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal will keep you energized throughout the voyage. You will find a road that descends beneath the pounding waterfall, where you may get a better view of Annapurna.
You will start your journey toward Phu Gaon after having a great breakfast with a breathtaking view of Meta. The Nar Phu Valley Trek with Tilicho Lake and Annapurna Circuit begins with gorgeous monasteries and colorful Tibetan chortens with fluttering prayer flags. Regular ups and downs are a part of the route to Chyakhu. Following the charming villages of Naar Phedi and Jhunum, one must cross a suspension bridge to reach Chyakhu. You will enjoy a great view of Annapurna before approaching Kyang. Fantastic detail can be observed from Kyang on Pisang Peak and Annapurna II.
You would have traveled through the Phu Khola on a rocky path, leaving behind some submerged rocks and perhaps a few campsites, before arriving at Phu gate, which serves as the entry to Phu Village. After 1.5 hours of hiking along the Phu trek through narrow gorges and steep slopes, you will encounter an ancient Tibetan stronghold and two abandoned forts for the first time. The unique blue sheep, varied customs, and religious practices of the villages of Nar and Phu are well-known. The Tashi Lhakhang Monastery in Phu Village should not be missed. Beautiful views of the Himlung Himal and other Himalayan ranges may be seen from Phu Village.
Today is the first acclimatization day of the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Nar Phu and Tilicho Itinerary after several days of intense hiking. Trekkers are urged to unwind and adjust to the altitude. You are welcome to explore the Phu Valley's spiritual practices, natural diversity, and untouched cultural settings. While exploring the valley, you may meet individuals from several ethnic groups, like the Ghale, Gurung, and Lama, and learn about their culture and religion. To make the most of the break time, take a quick stroll around the hamlet and a short trek to Tashi Lhakhang.
Given that it is only a three to four-kilometer trip from here to Tashi, you shouldn't have any trouble finishing this trek. Visitors to Phu have the option of visiting Himlung Base Camp, however, it can take a bit longer. In Tashi, you may explore a revered Tibetan monastery and catch sight of the gleaming Himalayas. It is possible to discover the fascinating Tibetan Buddhist-influenced mountain civilization by looking around this protracted village with a thatched roof made of mud and rock buildings
After breakfast, you will return by the Phu gate before descending to the Phu Khola. To get to the charming camping at Jhunum, you will have to retrace your steps through the Annapurna Circuit - Nar Phu - Tilicho Lake Trek route. Once more, you will descend to Mahendra Pul after crossing many streams on suspension bridges. The 80-meter-long Mahendra Pul bridges the Lapche River canyon. You may view Nar Phedi Monastery, Gyalbu Kumbu, and Satte gompa at Nar Phedi, where this path diverges.
There are also four venerable, lively medieval monasteries and imposing, snow-capped mountains. After visiting the noticeable, snow-capped Kang Garu Mountain, you will travel from Nar Phedi toward Nar settlement. You will march on after crossing the Mani walls, Gompas, and mud huts to reach the entrance to the Nar valley. Nar village is home to barley growing, breathtaking vistas of Kang Garu and Pisang Mountain, and unique regional culture. The exquisitely painted Chortens in Nar Village with their bamboo roofs will impress you.
Today is the second acclimatization day of the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Nar Phu and Tilicho Itinerary. Always remember to adjust to the higher height and be ready for it. You may keep moving by exploring the Nar village and acclimating to the surroundings. Take a hike and enjoy Nar Village's charming surroundings. It can be a wonderful chance to get to know the locals and learn about their culture and way of life. On this day, you may also visit four chortens and monasteries in this area. You may also enjoy the beautiful view of Pisang Peak, Amotsang Himal, Kang Garo, and Pokhar Khang from Nar Village. You also need to get ready for Kang La Pass today. You might be surprised to learn that every home in Nar has at least one child who learns Buddhism.
You must get up early today if you want to make it to the Kang La Pass. By adopting the Nar Phu Valley Trek with Tilicho Lake and Thorong La Pass Route, one may access the well-known Annapurna Circuit. You will traverse the lateral moraine of the Temdenzon Khola as you rise from Nar via a lovely path that passes past yak meadows. Next on the itinerary is Jhombu Kharka, sometimes referred to as Kang La Phedi. From Kang La Phedi, you will gradually ascend to Kang La Pass. The Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Tilicho peak, peaks surrounding Tilicho, Marsyangdi valley, and Hunde airport can all be seen from Kang La Pass. A fascinating collection of chortens and prayer flags can be found along the walk's gentle descent, which also gives breathtaking views of Ngawal.
Today, after a delicious breakfast, you will go to Manang Valley. As you make your way to Manang, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of Gangapurna, Annapurna II, and Annapurna III as well as Pisang Peak and Gandharva Chuli. You will go over a level valley while passing through a pine forest and the Marsyangdi River. After more than an hour of following the Annapurna with Nar Phu Valley and Tilicho Lake Trek Route, you will pass the Marsyangdi River and reach Braga Village. While in the vicinity, you may go to the well-known Braga Tibetan Monastery. The Braga monastery is amazing. The next step is a challenging climb to Mungli. You will reach Manang, one of the main towns in the Manang District, after finishing the main trial of the Annapurna Circuit, which is home to a gorgeous monastery and a lot of teahouses. You might be able to see the Annapurna Range up close from there.
Today is the third acclimatization day of the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Nar Phu and Tilicho Itinerary. The quaint Manang hamlet, the largest settlement in the valley, will be the focus of your day's exploration. It might be a good opportunity to discover more about Manang residents' culture and way of life. Explore a rain shadow area that is abundant in natural flora and animals and that many hikers find to be a lovely experience. You may go on quick hikes all around the place to get used to your surroundings. You will be rewarded with breathtaking mountain panoramas and a magnificent ice lake after a six-hour hike to the Ice Lake. Similarly to that, Praken Gompa is close by and offers great views of Annapurna as well as the opportunity to get blessings from a Lama.
Your Nar Phu Valley Trek with Annapurna Circuit Route today will provide you with breathtaking views of Gungang Himal and Mt. Chulu. Manang and Siri Kharka are connected via a shorter path. You will descend from the top route to a river, cross it, and then continue on a track that will take you through coniferous forests. It will take around three hours on foot to get to the Tibetan settlement of Khangsar. From Khangsar, go toward Shiri Kharka, passing a monastery along the way.
You will depart from Siri Kharka in the early morning on a journey to Tilicho Base Camp. On the present Nar Phu Valley and Tilicho Lake with Annapurna Circuit Trek, the route from Siri Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp is neither very physically demanding nor steep. But given that you will be traversing uneven, landslide-prone ground while trekking along tight routes, it may be exhausting. From the paths, you might be able to observe spectacular snow-capped summits like Tilicho Peak and incredible rock formations. After spending most of the day ascending a challenging terrain, you will eventually reach the valley, pass through a little creek, and reach Tilicho Base Camp.
This is a very special day for the Annapurna Circuit and Nar Phu Valley Trek because you will see Tilicho Lake. However, you will start your day at Tilicho Base Camp early in order to avoid the afternoon breeze. Due to the steepness of the trail, it will take two to three hours of effort to get to Tilicho Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world. As you move along, yaks and deer will be grazing above and below your path. Tilicho Lake, a large lake with a stunning setting, is located on the other side, hidden behind the north face of Tilicho Peak.
An elite French expedition team referred to Tilicho Lake as "The Great Ice Lake." The three majestic peaks that surround Tilicho Lake are the Tilicho Himal, Annapurna Range, and Nilgiri Himal. The Lake also holds a unique place in Hinduism since it is mentioned in The Ramayan, one of the religion's holiest books. You will enjoy the splendors of Tilicho Lake before heading back to Siri Kharka, where you will spend the night.
Today, the Annapurna Circuit - Nar Phu - Tilicho Lake Trek will start from Siri Kharka to Yak Kharka. As you continue down the same route toward the village of Kangsar, you will pass through Tare Gumba, a more than a thousand-year-old complex of monasteries that is incredibly important to Buddhists. Upon arrival, Khangsar Village will be empty, with the exception of a few irregular herders during festival seasons. After leaving the village of Kangsar in the Thorang Khola valley, you will encounter a seasonal bridge that will lead you to a plateau. To get to Yak Kharka, where you will spend the night, you must go a bit farther. Beautiful views of the Annapurna mountain ranges can be seen from Yak Kharka.
After breakfast, you will continue your Annapurna Circuit and Nar Phu Valley Trek through Ledar, the final settlement on the journey. After continuing along the winding path, you will ascend a ridge that will provide you with a breathtaking view of Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Tobuche, and Chuli Peak. Following that, the path descends to Marsyandhi, which you may access through the wooden bridge. A small neighborhood teahouse is seen along the walk, where visitors may unwind and eat. You will ascend the path from the river's right bank after passing the hamlet, then go along the twisting road before descending to Thorung Phedi. After being assigned, you have a choice between relaxing in the teahouse and making the ascent to high camp for an overnight stay. No matter what, you can always enjoy the breathtaking view of the neighboring snowy peaks and valleys.
The journey you will undertake today is one of the toughest in the entire Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake and Thorong La Pass. You may reach the 5416-meter/ 17,769ft Thorung La Pass by way of Thorung Phedi or Thorung High Camp. Thorung La Pass offers a distant view of the Annapurna Range, Thorong Peak, Dhaulagiri Range, Nilgiri, and other mountains. You will wander down to Muktinath after savoring the splendor and snapping a few pictures. There is only downhill travel between Thorung La Pass to Muktinath.
In addition to being a Buddhist temple, Muktinath is the second-largest Hindu temple. The Muktinath shrine receives a high number of Hindu pilgrims. In Muktinath, there are two small ponds and 108 water taps. Hindus believe that by taking showers from 108 different faucets, you may atone for previous misdeeds. A holy natural gas flame sparkles behind a grill just above the spring at Dhola Mebar Gompa, or the Jwalamai (goddess of fire) temple, a little distance away via a group of Chorten.
According to the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake and Nar Phu Itinerary, today marks the conclusion of your hiking in the Annapurna region as you prepare to travel to Jomsom. Following breakfast, you will leave Muktinath and start your descent through several charming villages, including Jharkot, Kagbeni, and Ekle Bhatti. The trip to Jomsom is much easier than the previous one because most of the paths are downhill.
The trail's final few sections have some steep inclines that make them a little more challenging. The Kali Gandaki River and a windswept valley are reached by ascending the mountains that lead to Jomsom. Jomsom, which serves as the district's administrative hub for the Mustang area, is home to the Thakali people and the traditional salt dealers. Jomsom offers a clear view of Tilicho Peak, Nilgiri, and Dhaulagiri.
Finally, you will depart this morning early in order to catch your flight to Pokhara and say goodbye to Nar Phu Valley Trek with Annapurna Circuit and Tilicho Lake. Flying time to Pokhara will be between 30 and 40 minutes. The route to Tatopani and Ghorepani, as well as sweeping vistas of the Annapurna Himalaya Range, are visible along the journey. After a demanding day of climbing, take advantage of a free day in Pokhara to rest, relax, and heal your muscles. The treasures that may be discovered in Pokhara include Phewa Lake, Tal Barahi, Devi's fall, Gupteshwor Cave, World Peace Pagoda, International Mountain Museum, Bindabasini Temple, Mahendra Cave, and more attractions.
After boarding a tourist bus in Pokhara this morning to return to Kathmandu, Tilicho Lake Trek with Annapurna Circuit and Nar Phu will come to a conclusion today. The captivating Marsyangdi River and later the Trishuli River are followed over the 205 km/ 127 miles road that separates Pokhara from Kathmandu. From Pokhara to Kathmandu, the road travels through a number of lovely villages, including Damauli, Dumre, and others. Along the way, you'll see stunning views of snow-covered mountains, rivers, and hills. As soon as you arrive in the valley, a member of our staff will be there to greet you and direct you to your lodging so you can freshen up before spending your last evening in Nepal shopping or exploring Thamel
