The trek offers a chance to see the majestic Himalayas up close and personal while also immersing yourself in the unique culture of the region.

One of the highlights of the Manaslu Short Trek Itinerary is the opportunity to see the Manaslu Mountain up close. The trek takes you to Larkya La Pass, which offers a stunning panoramic view of the Manaslu range, as well as other peaks in the region. This pass also provides a chance to cross over into the nearby Tsum Valley, a hidden gem of the region that is still relatively untouched by tourism. The Short Manaslu Trek is an ideal option for those with limited time who still want to experience the beauty of the Himalayas. The trek can be completed in just 10 to 12 days, making it perfect for those with busy schedules who still want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The Short Manaslu Trek is a moderate trek, suitable for those with good fitness and a sense of adventure. Short Manaslu Trek Overview

After breakfast in Kathmandu, you will take a public bus to Machha Khola, passing via Arughat and Soti Khola to start your Short Manaslu Trek. It will be a long trip, with the first portion of it being easily over a major blacktop road up to Arughat and the second portion of it being difficult after Arughat. Be prepared to bounce your body with some activities as you go along the rough path to Machha Khola. On the other side, the tour will offer some breathtaking vistas of Nepal's scenery.

You will continue your hike alongside the Budhi Gandaki River. Before reaching Tatopani, a hot spring, the Manaslu Circuit Short Trekking path passes through Khorlabesi and makes brief ascents and descents. As you bridge the Budhi Gandaki River and pass a mountain, you will be astounded by the spectacular views at Doban, Thulo Dunga, and Yaru Bagar. Once at the Manaslu Conservation Area entrance gate, you will register your Manaslu Short Trek Permits at a police checkpoint in Jagat. The route winds and turns over the river and over several suspension bridges. You will have to climb up in elevation to reach Jagat, which will change your view and the vegetation. During your forest stroll, langur monkeys can show up out of the blue

With a distant view of Sringi Himal, the walk begins over a rocky slope. Before reaching Philim, a Gurung settlement, you will go past Salleri, Sirdibas, and Ghatta Khola. Your Short Manaslu Circuit Trek Route will next travel to Nyak village through Ekle Bhatti, twice over the Budhi Gandaki River on suspension bridges. You will reach Deng village by passing via Pewa Khola and bamboo trees, following the Budhi Gandaki's bank walkways, and passing through a lonely canyon.

Beginning at Deng, the Manaslu Circuit Short Trek will ascend to Rana and Bihi Phedi while traversing a suspension bridge over the Budhi Gandaki River. Before reaching the charming village of Ghap, this hike will gradually ascend and pass through a variety of woods and mani stones. After that, you will go to Ghapsya while admiring the breathtaking views of Shringi Himal along the way. Be cautious since the landslide area will start near Ghapsya. By following the river and repeatedly crossing it via the forest and gompas, you may ascend to Namrung.

From Namrung to Lihi, you must trek a challenging path through a wooded area with stunning views of mountains, including Saula Himal, Pangkar Himal, Kutang Himal, and Pangbuche Himal. Lihi offers views of the Manaslu Himalchuli, as well as lovely chortens and barley fields. You will encounter more Buddhists and observe a change in the flora as your Short Manaslu Trekking route progresses. After passing through Sho Village, where you can see Punggen Glacier, you will arrive at Lho Village. It will be only a short hike from Lho to Samagaon. You will pass via Shyala hamlet, which offers spectacular scenery, gompas, Tibetan culture, and alpine grandeur, on the Short Manaslu Trek Route to Samagaon

In Samagaun, today will be your acclimatization day. Hiking to Birendra Lake or Manaslu Base Camp is an alternative for acclimating your body. Either of these two locations or the Pungyen monastery's ridge is your option. The historic monastery, which stands south of Samagaun and takes a five- to six-hour two-way walk, holds great significance for the inhabitants.

You will be able to see Mt. Manaslu up close to Samagaon on your walk. Villagers can be seen buying Chinese whiskey from a street seller or spinning wool into garments at the various village entrance gates. From Samagaun, you could walk a short distance to Birendra Lake or Pungyen Gompa. Relaxation is ideal at the Buddhist temple of Pung Gyen Gompa, which is surrounded by several towering mountains. The same is true for Birendra Lake, which offers a stunning view of the turquoise and emerald water and is around an hour's walk from Samagaon

You must climb a solitary route that inclines sharply to reach Samdo. You may travel the Manaslu Short Trek trail, which passes through magnificent woods with rhododendrons, juniper, and birch trees, along the Budhi Gandaki River. Before reaching Kermo Kharka and the white Kani Gateway, the valley expands. The stone walls that surround the path make it more appealing. After a further 4 kilometers, you will arrive at Samdo, which is just beyond the Tibetan border. You can view a Tibetan refugee settlement as well as Mt. Manaslu, Simnang Himal, Ngadi Chuli, Manaslu Glacier, and Manaslu Icefall from here.

As today's hike is short, you will have plenty of time to adjust to the altitude. The Short Manaslu Circuit Trek continues through wooden bridges that span the Budi Gandaki and over slopes. After fording two streams, you will arrive at the Larkya glacier, which is followed by a breathtaking valley. This trek offers stunning views of Manaslu and the Syacha Glacier. You may glimpse Himalayan blue sheep en route to Dharamshala if you are lucky. From Dharamshala, it is possible to observe peaks like Jarkya Himal, Nysing Himal, and Lajyung Himal, as well as glaciers like Fukang Glacier, Larkya Glacier, Syacha Glacier, Yamnang Glacier, and Manaslu Glacier.

When you cross Larkya La Pass (5160m), the trek's highest point, it is the most awaited day of the Manaslu Circuit Short Trek Itinerary. The steep, snow-covered pass will thereafter be gradually ascended once Cho Chanda has been scaled. The panoramic views of the Alps are just spectacular from the peak. Among the snow-capped Himalayas you will view are the Himlung, Cheo, Gyagi Kung, Kang Koru, and Annapurna II. After that, Bhimphedi is reached after a difficult tumble via moraines. Visitors may view glaciers like Dobhan, Purdi, and Ponkar as well as little lakes like Ponkar and Nayamlo from Bhimphedi.

According to the Short Manaslu Trekking Itinerary, today is the last day of trekking in the Manaslu region. With views of Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Himlung Himal, and Cheo Himal, the descent from Bimthang travels through high-grazing grassland, Dudh Khola, and rhododendron woods. First and foremost, you will descend from Bimthang to the village of Hampuk after passing Dobhan and Purdi Khola. Next, you will pass through Yak Kharka and Kharche and the gorgeous streams Soti Khola and Kasongto Khola as you go to Gho Village. Following Dudh Khola from Gho Village, you will finally reach Tilche.

Finally, you will bid Tilche farewell and get a ride to Kathmandu or Pokhara. Along with images of some of the most breathtaking mountains in the world, you will return home with priceless memories. After completing the Short Manaslu Trek, you will spend the night in Kathmandu and celebrate with a farewell dinner where you may exchange your Short Manaslu Circuit Trek experiences.
