Today, we started our journey early in the morning by driving on a beautiful scenic road through a Nepalese mountain village to Syabrubesi. It is located in northern Nepal within the breathtaking Langtang National Park of Rasuwa district.

While driving, we will have a magnificent view of the Langtang Mountain range, glistening alongside the enormous Ganesh, Annapurna, and Manaslu peaks.

The drive to Syabrubes is  (1450M) (152 Km/About 7/8 Hours drive ), and the overnight stay hotel is in Syabrubesi (Near the Nepal/China border). We can also drive more to Timure by another 12 km (Nepal/China Border) to make tomorrow’s journey easier.

After breakfast, we will continue to drive to Ghatte Khola, where the Nepal Immigration office authorities will inspect our documents and luggage. We will then proceed to Rasuwagadhi, the border separating Nepal from Tibet.

We will finish all the necessary formalities here and meet our Tibetan guide, who will accompany us on our Mansarovar yatra.

At immigration, the Chinese visa department will check everyone’s visa in our group. Then, we will take a 38-km bus ride to Kerung and stay overnight in a hotel.

Today, we planned a rest day to help us acclimate to the high Tibetan air. After enjoying a relaxing breakfast between the mountains of Tibet, we will see Princess Bhrikuti’s sculpture in Pakpa Monastery.

Located in the center of Kerung, this monastery exemplifies true Nepali architectural elegance. The Gompa was established nearly a millennium ago by King Songtsen Gampo in honor of his Nepali Queen.

Next, we will wander through the town and admire its scenic beauty. Kerung town also has a variety of restaurants that offer delightful Nepali, Tibetan, Chinese, and Indian cuisine.

On the first long driving day over Tibet’s sandy and rocky land, other sites like lakes and nomads chasing thousands of yaks and sheep keep you busy.

By the late afternoon, you will cross the Bhramha Purtra River on the way to a typical Chinese and Tibetan town. Now, we arrive at an elevation above 4500 m, where the air is thinner. So we need to be more careful with Altitude; rest and drinking a lot of liquid diets will help.

Have an early breakfast and get ready for another exciting day. In the late afternoon, you can view Holy Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. Today, we will pass a small village near Holy Mansarovar Lake.

Enjoy the calm lake of Holy Mansarovar (14950 ft/4558m). It is the highest lake of fresh water, has a turquoise complexion, and is full of fish and swans. Holy Mt. Kailash, Mt. Gurula-Mandala, and Lake Rakshash lie in their surroundings. Enjoy the best mountain view of  Gurla Mandhata/Naimonanyi Peak as it glimmers in the distance.

These regions have gold and other mines, as well as hot springs. There are hundreds of wild living creatures. While driving, we can visit several monasteries. This includes Dargyeling Monastery, which passes Lhaksang and Zamlungla—at Mudhouse at Mansarovar.

Today, we will wake up on a beautiful and spiritual morning at the Lake in front of Kailash. We will begin our day by collecting water from the lake in a bucket for a purifying bath. Next, we will engage in Yagyas, havans, and pujas, praying for the liberation of our ancestors’ souls.  Holy Mansarovar is the lake of compassion, tranquility, and bliss.

We will do the memorable morning bath and puja here after we drive for Holy Mansarovar Parikrama by Landcruiser with a packed lunch and continue to drive towards Tarchen (Darchen).

If time permits, we will visit Chui Gompa. Tarchen is like a base camp for Holy Kailash Parikrama. During the auspicious pilgrimage, this place is flooded with pilgrims, many of whom have hundreds of tents.

Finally, the inaugural day of our Kailash Kora has arrived. This first day of Kailash Outer Kora is relatively gentle and easy as we reinvigorate with profound energy.

After a short drive from Darchen, we will arrive at the Tarboche Flagpole, which is decorated with multicolored prayer flags. During the annual festival of Saga Dawa, the new flagpole is erected and decorated by the devotees.

The east-west ridge blocks your view of Mt Kailash, but the vast Gurla Mandata(7728m) is visible to the southeast. We are walking on a beautiful rocky cliff. Waterfalls and clouds in the clear blue sky make you feel that the Great God Shiva is everywhere, blessing you with many blessings. From time to time, Kailash Parbat’s face will keep appearing.

Our room today is in a modest guesthouse with 4 to 5 beds compensated with the majestic darshana of the northern face of sacred Kailash.

( Note: We will leave our duffel bag in Darchen hotel before we move to Derapuk today, You will take your only needed things for Kora like, 1 pair of changing inner clothes, Head lamp, sun lotion, cold cream, your medicine, water bottle, rain coat, you carry your small day pack or if you hire porter he will carry your day pack maximum 5 kg, you need to bring your own day pack. ) When we get back to Darchen then you get your duffel bag before drive to Saga.)

Today, we will cross the Dolma-La 5630m  (18471 ft) and descend to Zuthulpuk (4700m). This is the most challenging day of the trek. Once you reach the top, make the holiest offering and meditate to forget in eternity.

Once your steps go down, We can see the Parvati and Gauri Kunda; people bring the water from there. By late afternoon, you will arrive in Zuthulpuk. (the cave of Miracles, the great ascetic Milerappa can perform miracles here)

The pass associates Buddhists with the goddess, the Container, and Hindus with Parvati, the divine wife who misters Shiva. Now, we will overcome the steep, rocky ascent to the heights of Dolma La. The fluttering prayer flags greet us as we reach the Green Tara Pass summit. This sacred site is dedicated to Goddess Tara, worshiped for her compassion and maternal essence.

You can do the holiest offerings and meditate to forget yourself. Once your steps go down, Parvati-steal and Gauri Kunda are on the way. By the late afternoon, you will arrive at Zuthal Puk (the cave of Miracles. The great ascetic Milerappa is here and can perform miracles here).

Today is a more pleasant walking day, not more climbing up hills.  We are trekking above the river and entering the lovely Golds and Red Cliffs, a narrow canyon whose walls are stained purple, cobalt, and rust.

After an easy  2 hours of trekking, we will finally set foot at Darchen again. At Darchen, our vehicle will be ready to take us back to Saga. As we travel, don’t miss the chance to admire Lake Mansarovar and Chiu Gompa one last time.  We will spend the night at a guest house in Saga.

After breakfast in Saga, we drive towards Kerung, a scenic town near the Nepal-Tibet border. The journey offers stunning views of the Tibetan landscape as we make our way through mountainous terrain. We aim to reach Kerung by the afternoon, where we will check into our hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax and explore the town. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kerung.

After breakfast drive to Border of Nepal China and  afternoon after completing the necessary immigration and customs formalities we enter to Nepal site. Upon arrival at the border, you will go through the exit procedures on the Chinese side and then proceed with the entry formalities on the Nepali side.

This process may take some time. Once all immigration and customs procedures are completed, we will continue our journey back to Kathmandu. By evening, we will reach Kathmandu. We will stay overnight at a Hotel in Kathmandu.
